Hello, Welcome to Dent Middle School! My name is Mrs. Carolyn Simmons and I am excited about being your child’s social studies teacher. I am looking forward to working with every student this year and watching each one grow and succeed. I believe it is vital for parents to know their child’s teacher, so I would like to tell you about myself. This is my seventh year teaching at Dent Middle School.
I received my undergraduate degree from Paine College in Augusta, Georgia and graduate degree at Troy University.
I am looking forward to further getting to know each one of you and your families throughout the year. By working together, we can ensure that your experience at Dent is both rewarding and fulfilling. My motto is “We are ALL in this together”.
