Confucius Sayings Project
Objective: To demonstrate an understanding of the philosophy of Confucius by designing a poster showing and explaining a Confucius saying.
In China, there are many sayings attributed to Confucius. You will be given a list of quotations attributed to Confucius and choose your favorite. You will then create a paragraph describing what the saying means in your own words and place it on a small index card.
Read each of the saying and brainstorm your ideas first. Then create a rough draft using your own paper.
You will then get a piece of cardstock and create a poster.
The Poster must include:
1. The original Confucius saying.
2. The card with your own description of what the saying means.
3. Color drawings, decorations and images which enhance the meaning of the saying, and have a connection to China.
4. The poster must be error free, neat, and colorful.
